Tanigue with Veggies and Tomato Sauce

We only have half a kilo of tanigue left in the freezer. I don’t want it fried so I came up with this recipe.

  • Ingredients
  • 4 pcs sliced tanigue
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • ½ cup greenpeas
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 pouch DelMonte Tomato Sauce 250g
  • 2 tbsps Kikoman Teriyaki Sauce
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 3 tbsps calamansi juice
  • 1tbsp Kikoman soysauce

Combine soy sauce, ginger, calamansi and soysauce. Use this for marinating the tanigue for 30-45 mins.

Place tanigue in baking dish and bake for 15-20 mins at 240C. Saute onion & garlic in olive oil. Add green bell pepper, carrot & green peas, and tomato sauce. Simmer for 3-4 mins. Add baked tanigue. Simmer for 5-10 mins.
